Harmony

Harmony is a procedural drawing tool. The only way to understand what it does is to try it !

Anyway, I had some fun with it yesterday and here are some drawing I made with it :

  • Rise is an instrumental song that I made a few months ago. I thought about adding some lyrics but I will finally leave it as it for now.

  • Duality (link removed, sorry :( ) is a 12' long song with few lyrics (I have removed some ugly parts of voices for now. Must learn to sing well!)

  • Duality (Instrumental) (link removed, sorry :( ) is (as the title says) the instrumental version of duality for those who prefer it without lyrics.

  • All my songs are also available on my website!!

      Eiffel

Eiffel is a French rock band close to Noir Désir. I posted a review about their last album some time ago and I had the opportunity to see them twice in concert recently.

As it was some time ago now, it will be short!

The band transmits a lot of energy on stage. Almost all the songs are longer than their studio versions. Sometimes, they're really longer with parts of other songs in the middle!!

I have seen Nicolas Bonnière (the guitarist) several years ago when he was playing with Dolly (another French rock band). He's always the same! He moves a lot, hist head down and his hair covering his face. He's very impressive and loves to play with sounds (he uses some cool effects on-stage!).

Nicolas Courret is also a good drummer. He does more interesting things on-stage than in studio though!

Estelle Humeau plays the bass and the keyboards. She's more discreet than the others.

And finally Romain Humeau, singer, guitarist and leader. He has a very interesting voice that sounds like Bertrand Cantat's. He occasionally improvises some lyrics, which is quite funny !

Anyway, the two shows were excellent, I'll be there next time they do a show in the neighborhood!

Oh! And don't say Eiffel 65 For f***ing sake!

      Hello Eliziia

Ok, posts will be in English now! To keep in touch with the whole world \o/

Today I will present you my new bass (I bought it in january).

Her name is Eliziia. She's a Yamaha RBX-A2.

I really like her shape, color and this futurist look. She has 2 leds on the first 2 knobs that glow depending on their position. Useless but fun!

I also bought a tube microphone to record vocals last month. It's a MXL Genesis
I made a few recordings with it. Its sound is really better than my Sure SM-57 (It's obvious but it's also appreciable to be able to notice the difference ;) ).
